For the daily intake of vitamin D, make your kid spend some time in the sun during the daytime. 

Liquid consumption

Try to manage at least 2-3 liters of liquid consumption every day for your kid. Besides water, you can include soups, milk, juices, coconut water, buttermilk, lemonade etc. that will also maintain an adequate liquid diet. Fruit juices also work as an extra source of water and it boosts the energy in a child. Keeping the body hydrated is very important for the strengthening of immune system and parents should consider this factor as a must.
